MyYachtCo is a fractional ownership model. With My Yacht, you own a share of the yacht. Unlike chartering, members have equity in the MyYachtCo yacht fleet, and their membership has value.
Your initial equity investment buys a fraction of the yacht. The members then share management and operating costs proportionally including crew, maintenance, repairs, registration, taxes, dockage, cleaning, basic supplies, and AVI.

How Much do I Get to Use the Yachts?
- Like any shared asset, availability is based on the yachts reservation schedule.
- Each member gets a minimum allotment proportional to their share ownership. Yachts are scheduled for 280 days of use. The typical 1/4 share gets 70-days of on water. The remainder of the time the yacht is being bottom cleaned, topside cleaned, undergoing scheduled maintenance and/or unscheduled repairs, bottom painting, being prepared and provisioned for the next owner, or laid-up for weather (hurricanes).
- All owners get an opportunity reserve their dates, and any remaining unused dates are made available to the owners.
- MyYachtCo uses an online booking system that makes reserving your time easy.
What does the Initial Member Investment Cover?
- The initial investment covers asset acquisition. Your investment, combined with MyYachtCo’s contribution is used to purchase yachts for the fleet.

Are there financing options?
- Check with your bank to see if they will loan on a fractional yacht.
- If you need financing, our partner Aequa Financial specializes in fractional yacht financing.
Captain and crew
- Depending on the size of the yacht, a MyYachtCo Fractional Yacht will have 2 – 4 full-time crew.
- MyYachtCo Fractional Yachts have a skilled licensed Captain that will insure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- All MyYachtCo Fractional Yachts yachts come with additional crew to assist the Captain with deck duties. Larger yachts have a Chef, Steward[ess] and a Deckhand.
- When not helping the Captain crew will provide luxury service to the owner and guests.
- Qualified owners may pilot the yacht as they wish under supervision
Where can I Cruise?
- MyYachtCo is based out of Ft. Lauderdale. MyYachtCo Fractional Yachts routinely cruise South Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. Mediterranean (coming soon). View map of cruising zone.
- You are free to take your yacht wherever it and the passengers can legally cruise and is currently insured.
- Keep in mind your MyYachtCo management does not include fuel, provisions (food and drink) or transient dockage while you are on board.

Can I Sell my Share?
- Yes, you can sell your share at anytime on the open market.
- If you would like assistance, we have brokerage services that can help you.
- Your equity is protected with a guaranteed buy-out at 5-years.
Can I rent (charter) my share?
- Yes, owners are permitted to charter out their share.
- By chartering some of your shares, you may be able to recoup a significant portion of our M&M dues.
- You can trade time with other members in the My Yacht fleet.
